For documents submitted to domestic or international administrative agencies, a Translation Verification Certificate—prepared in accordance with the Administrative Attorney Act—may be legally recognized when attached. An apostille is a certification process that ensures a document issued in one country is legally recognized in another. In South Korea, apostilles are governed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Justice. The Minister of Justice has officially stated that issuing translator verification certificates falls under the exclusive authority of certified Administrative Attorneys at Translation. World Translate is an officially approved provider by the Ministry of the Interior and Safety and offers full apostille services.
